Threaded Together: A Birthing Cloth Story Workshop

Labor and delivery are unique to each and every one of us. Pregnancy and giving birth are transformative experiences that will change your life in a myriad of ways. Sharing birth stories is something that is incredibly important for all birthing families. It's through sharing stories that we process the profound, life-altering experience of giving birth.

Our stories are living entities. The concept of story cloths comes from a long history of women gathering to sew together. Across various cultures women have used the safety of that gathering to express their stories through the cloths they sew.

In this workshop we draw from the traditions of storytelling and story cloths to foster connection, validation, meaning-making, and empowerment in normalizing and sharing our birth stories.

Please join us for a birthing cloth story workshop. No experience with story cloths is necessary. All materials will be provided.
