This is the standard EMDRIA Approved EMDR Basic Training. Tuition of $1,400 includes two three-day training "weekends" and ten consultation hours. Students who enroll will be able to practice EMDR with clients after the first training.

The EMDR Basic Training is an EMDRIA Approved Training and is now being offered in the Five-Day Intensive Format. This format covers the same material as the standard format except it covers that material over the course of five consecutive days instead of two three-day trainings.

Foundations of EMDR with Children and Adolescents

with Nina Davey, LCPC, ATR-BC, EMDRIA Approved Consultant

This training offers an in-depth look at preparing and laying a strong foundation for EMDR Therapy when working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers. Throughout this training, clinicians will develop an application of EMDR when working with children and develop an understanding of ways to build safety and rapport through art and play therapy modalities. Clinicians will also apply knowledge of EMDR when working with parents/caregivers in order to build a complete foundation for trauma work with children.

This training offers an in-depth look at creative techniques and the effectiveness of integrating art experientials and EMDR.

EMDR Therapists often look for effective ways to utilize EMDR therapy when working with clients experiencing complex symptoms. Creative intervention creates a space for clients to express thoughts and emotions through a non-threatening modality. Paired with EMDR, clients are presented a way to process complex trauma with the option of non-verbal communication through the art.
